Since our charter in 2013 , American Legion Post 315 has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community.


Our regular Legion Meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of every month at 10:00 AM unless posted. Locations may change monthly. See above marquee for latest location.

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 315 meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Wylie Public Library, Wylie Texas. Our membership meeting starts at 10:15 AM

The American Legion Amateur Radio Club meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the Wylie Public Library, Wylie Texas.

For God and Country
We associate ourselves together for the following purposes:

To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America; to maintain law and order; to foster and perpetuate a one hundred percent Americanism; to preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in the Great Wars; to inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state and nation; to combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses; to make right the master of might; to promote peace and goodwill on earth; to safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom and democracy; to consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.

  2. Grant scholarships to children whose parents died on active-duty or incurred a 50% VA disability since September 11, 2001

  3. Identify the unmet needs of U.S. military personnel, veterans, and their families, and provide the necessary resources to meet them

  4. Sponsor high school students to attend Girls and Boys State

  5. Support youth sports and JROTC programs in Wylie, texas
